| The mission of the ‘Centro de Juventud’
(Youth Center) is to provide a safe place for girls, boys, teenagers
and young adults to learn, enjoy and participate in the community
allowing a continued development of education, health and growth.
The center runs on the principals of resilience so that the
teens, families and community can prosper and have an empowering
impact on their future. |

| The vision of the ‘Centro de Juventud’ is to bring together existing services within the community so that the communication among the Municipio (the local government), the schools, the church, the clinics, private doctors, healers, AA, the families and the children can work together to provide a holistic approach to building the community and caring for its youth. |
